It's what happens when a retired Boeing mechanic buys truckloads of small rocks of all shapes and colors, then gets busy with a rock saw, a wheelbarrow, and plenty of concrete for twenty years. Milton Walker is no longer with us, but the lady who showed the Wendling and me around knew him well enough to give us some of the history. She also showed us some of the hidden treasures like the fossils and the human figures among the cut geodes. It left me smiling up the 405.
