I absconded from work a little early yesterday and managed to see both beautiful, charming queer women with ADD.
There was a long walk & talk in the sun with The One Who Is Not Funny Lady, whose career-related pandemic exploits despite catching COVID-19 and suffering effects for months afterward, which I didn't even know about, reinforce my opinion of her as some kind of superhuman.
Kinda gay moment: three gorgeous women in spandex roller skated past us. "I'm enjoying the view," TOWINFL said quietly.
"Get out of my head," I replied.
Ethiopian dinner with Funny Lady was super tasty and super comfy. We made plans for future activities. FL herself is working on launching a career in the tech industry, and I have a hunch she's going to succeed soon. When she does, she has promised fabulous sushi.
Interesting and slightly sinister fact: Queen of Sheba had no honey wine. Assuming that they're getting it from Ethiopia, I can't help but wonder whether the supply disruption is due to distribution or production. War and famine have broken out in Ethiopia's Tigray province and neighboring areas. I wonder if America's Ethiopian community is remitting money thither as immigrants often do, or if they're trying to get family out.
