#1: I got stuck on Mercer Island on the way to Seattle to see a relative passing through town because they closed the bridges for the Blue Angels show. So, since the whole famn damily was hungry, we snarfed bagels at a strip mall and got a really amazing view of the planes doing their thing from the parking lot. They did some of their maneuvers right over our heads. My, those F-18s are loud. I want one.
#2: Getting a free tour of the USS Hurricane, the smallest commissioned ship in the US Navy, courtesy of the aforementioned relative. It, too, was impressively ship-shape and cool in a geeky way. Being a sailor is not for the claustrophobic, though, even on a surface ship.
#3: I spent way too much money and time at another goth garage sale, and got to hobnob with cuties in black who share at least some of my fetishes. I got a grocery bag full of clothes that I need. Need, I tell you. Now I'll have to go out wearing them all to justify the expense. Darn.
#4: The Wendling was being mysteriously and egregiously well-behaved until he pulled the unripe apples off one tree today.
#5: Her Nibs and I have an appointment with a couples' counsellor recommended by my shrink tomorrow. I'm glad we're starting sooner rather than later
