There are lots of indoor events in London that are requiring a COVID pass from Britain's fabulous National Health Service as proof of vaccination and/or negative test results. I'd like to go to at least one such event, namely Torture Garden, which you should not google from work.
Requiring a COVID pass a fine idea, but the NHS has no record of dadburn ferriners like me and therefore will not give any of us a COVID pass. So I wrote one of the organizers of TG and explained my predicament. She said, in essence, fear not. All I have to do is present the same evidence of vaccination & testing that it takes to actually get into the UK, and I'll be good to go.
This has made me unreasonably happy today. Ahem.
