dialog on the potty

S: Then why don't you get off the potty and go watch the rest of your movie with Mommy?
W: I don't want to get off the potty.
S: Why not?
W: I need to pee.

I don't have circular conversations with my son; I have Möbius strip conversations with him.

It only took half an hour to get pee out of him today, down from an hour and a half yesterday. I've got to be more vigilant about making sure his penis is pointed into the bowl, though.

Oh yeah, our favorite two words for a few weeks when we were potty-training Quinn were, "Aim down!"
