Dr. Snip's office called first thing this morning and told me that I have a "tentative" surgery date of December 13th! Dr. Snip herself had said that December was booked, but I guess she doesn't keep her own schedule.
From the Dept. of Awkward Coincidences: That date will be the day after my mother's birthday. Mom is going to be my minder down in California. My first day of Full Time was the seventeenth anniversary of when I met Nibs. Pride this year is on the third anniversary of when I told Nibs I was going to transition.
My godlike insurance says they need documentation that I've been in a "gender program". Luckily, I have plenty time to get that. I'll discuss with Dr. Shrink.
