achievement unlocked: house swarming

I had my little house swarming at the Lake Place. It was lightly attended - lots of last-minute cancellations - but I still had fun chatting with the folks who came until the wee hours. The figs and gang jung (Korean sesame thingies from Uwajimaya) were hits. Also, we like cheese. No one touched the hard liquor, though, so I may have to have a spirits-and-sake-only party at some point.

savannarama's boyfriend is even prettier than I remembered. Hormones? Maybe.

I am really sorry. I was going to head north around 10 to get there by 11 and hang out late but I looked down at my phone and somehow it was 11:15. I headed north but by the time I got to Seattle it was after midnight. :(

Again, I am so sorry I couldn't be there. But I got lots of writing done! Now to repeat that trick for today.
