vixyish & gfish) briefly for drinks, nibbles, and chatting with the extended MOOer family horde. A tip o' the hat to solarbird and her cake vodka milkshakes. Yes, you read that right: cake vodka milkshakes. It was an excellent teaser for New Year's Eve. I never tire of MOO parties.
Neither do I tire of a good ravey thing. I went to Portal, put on by Michael Manahan and the rest of the Oracle Gatherings crew. Now, these guys are seriously into woo woo, but the music, vibe, and eye candy at their parties are good enough to make up for it. Once the hip hop mummers (I'm not making that up.) left the stage, things got rather good. I regret that I was so sore & tired by 1:00 AM that I had to call it quits.
I saw K, who kept disappearing & reappearing. When she was around, it was lovely, but she wasn't around much. Head-scratchy. Certain things she said make me feel better about keeping my options open.
Favorite moment: giving an air kiss for auld lang syne to Osiris Indriya while he was DJ'ing. He still remembers me, and he's still got it.
And now, to get ready for Korean food with the Siberian Siren - on her, because she blew me off last Saturday night. It's a pretty safe bet that there will be shopping afterwards. I have the list right here.
