Time to catch up here.

Thursday: eats at Marakesh in Belltown. Surprisingly good, tender, spicy mutton. Ground chicken in filo pastry with confectioner's sugar on top. Minced salad with a tart tressing. No utensils. All quite tasty. I was pleased (and relieved) to see Her Nibs being social with peeps. Speaking of which, I'll post that recipe as soon as she gives it to me.

Friday: the opening of the Seattle Erotic Arts Festival. I got there late because I forgot to write down the "N" in the address (one of the few things I hate about Seattle), but I did get through the long line in time. What blew me away were the size of the crowd and the number of pieces in the show. liberpolly, who is one of the artists, was disappointed in the quality. He has a point, but there was stuff there that I liked (black & white fetish photographs from Fulcrum, the hilarious "slang" series), and certainly stuff there that made my jaw hit the floor (the amputee photos, the huge pudding photo). I didn't get to be social 'cause I'd promised to come straight home, but at least I got some culchah.

Saturday: game night with the neighbors. It's always more fun when I bring the snobby beer. One of them insisted on bringing her own coke because the host's was, she said, too flat.

Nuns like phone calls out of the blue from ferrets. Yes, they do.

Marrakesh is excellent. A friend of mine (ceremona's older sister) is one of the belly dancers, but I don't know if they do the dancers on Thursdays. I know they hire them for Friday and Saturday.

You should go to Marrakesh sometime when I am dancing there. There are two shows on Fridays and Saturdays. Glad you liked the food. I LOVE the salad that they have there.
