Worked real good, had a big group at Lambert House, was database monkey, then got home to my son who was in bed with the lights out before 2200. There ensued a five-minute argument about whether he should take a shower; I could smell that he needed one as soon as I walked in. Shower he did, but really? Again with the argument? About a basic health activity? He didn't even work yesterday.

If he complains about the peas I'm making with dinner tonight, they're going up his nose.

Oh, he knows when he should shower. He just doesn't want to as often as most people, even when he really needs to.

I last talked to the director, Ken Shulman, a couple of weeks ago. He said it wasn't going too well; I've never seen him as freaked out as he has been the last few months. He's scrambling to raise money, but he's pretty sure Lambert House will have to find a temporary home between now and when we have to move out. Luckily, we've had an offer of one.
