I just mailed my 1040X amended tax return, paid for my mistake online, and filed a hardcopy receipt. (I was waiting to get paid myself.) I did all this at 0630 my time because now I can anticipate that refund. Let's see how much of it I can spend on Mom-related legal fees this year!

I will eventually make good on that. Seattle is still on our short list, but with the family stuff in New England this year, it looks like 2020 for Seattle.
