I guess this is a postscript to the postscript about devil girls. One of the smaller pieces that François Dubeau unexpectedly sent me is yet another devil girl, this one with a whip in her hand; I spent time with the Tickler brainstorming about where to hang her where neighboring small children can't see before hanging it last night.
And then I remembered that I had two temporary tattoos that I've never used that were drawn by local artist Ellen Forney fifteen years ago. One is a (male) nude devil with his hands tied behind his back; the other is - wait for it - a devil girl in nothing but kitten heels, a thong, and a mask throwing the horns. It's now on my bedroom wall where it belongs.
So that's seven devil girls and one devil guy spread out over six artworks in a one-bedroom apartment. I feel I must rename my lake place, which is a few blocks from the lake anyway, to be the Devil Girl Pad.
